WHAT IS THE
We
are a community of men and women who have been converted to Christ. This
conversion involves a complete change of heart. This wonderful change comes
through the regenerating power of God’s word.

Our faith in Christ is in the testimony of
God’s inspired word—the Bible. (I Tim. 3:16-17; Rom.
Without this faith we cannot approach God
for salvation. (Heb. 11:6; John 8:24.)
This faith in Christ results in godly
sorrow that produces repentance. (2 Cor. 7:10.) This
repentance leads to salvation.
We gladly confess our faith in Jesus
Christ, the Son of God (Matt.
We have been baptized into Christ (Rom.
6:3) by being buried with Him in baptism (Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12) for the
remission of sins (Acts 2:38.) Through belief and baptism we become children
of God (Gal.
We assemble together on the first day of
the week to take communion (1 Cor.
On the first day of every week we set aside
a sum of money in keeping with our income, to preach the gospel and to serve
the needs of other people. (1 Cor. 16:1, 2; James 2;
1 John 3:16, 17.)
Our public worship consists of prayer,
congregational singing, preaching, the Lord’s Supper, and our contribution.
We never ask any to support our work who are not
members of our congregation.
We believe in sending the gospel to every
nation and to every person on earth (Matt. 28:19, 20; Mark
