What Is Sin?
For the
most part, people deny that there is such a thing as sin. But the Bible declares and defines sin as
real. “Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness” (1
John 3:4). Sin is breaking the law
of God and breaking the law of God is sin.
The word sin comes from a word that means
to “miss the mark” or “veer away” from the target. We sin
when we fail to hit the “bull’s eye” of God’s word!
What Are The
Consequences of Sin?
The
first effect of sin is to not know and understand the true identity of God (1
John 3:6). The second result of sin is separation
